The Cady-Lee sits near the heart of the historic Takoma community. Originally a Victorian train stop community, Takoma includes both the City of Takoma Park, Maryland, and the adjacent neighborhood of Takoma DC. The Cady-Lee is one of the original showplace mansions visible from the train line along Eastern Avenue in the DC part of Takoma.
